The First Look

The First Look is becoming more and more popular at our weddings. 

It’s a moment of quiet, between the two of you, before the ceremony, before the craziness, the push and pull, the family love, before everything everything really gets going. 

It is a chance for you to see each other, all dressed up, before everyone else does. Not only does it make for the most beautiful photos and film, it is a once in a lifetime moment of intimacy.

This is Katarina and Michael on their wedding day, having their First Look.

We didn't want to get in their faces. We didn't want them to feel that they needed to perform for us. We wanted them to share this moment privately.

We stepped back. We kept our distance. We let them be.

We didn't record their conversation. We couldn’t even hear it - but we felt it.

We watched as all their words were rolled into one, as Michael’s hand brushed the hair from Katarina’s face.

The word? Love.
